Winter 2004 Ministry Momentum Dear Friends and Partners of HCAW, The holidays are upon us and I wanted to reach out and encourage you in your pursuit of living to glorify God in your work life. I also wanted to take this opportunity to update you on developments at His Church at Work and the impact our WorkLife Discipleship and Outreach models and tools are having in the growing number of churches we serve. Here to serve you and your church,
1. The growth of our church based work ministry models by over 100% now covering 7 states. Over 500,000 unchurched at work are being influenced through the work lives of church members now. 2. We spoke and trained at two Billy Graham Workplace events, one international conference and many other events. 3. A management level team member joined us in Atlanta to increase our operational capacity. 4. A technology administrator / graphic designer joined the HCAW team and moved to Atlanta with us. 5. Development of WorkLife University, a process to simultaneously train several churches and lay the foundation for a scalable training model so we can expand. 6. Addition of several ongoing volunteers including a: a. Prayer coordinator/intercessor b. Training curriculum development specialist c. Ministry evaluation instrument development and analysis specialist 7. Relocation of the ministry from San Diego to Atlanta for greater organizational efficiency 8. Formation of a formal Advisory Board to counsel and support HCAW. 9. A developing city strategy to launch city clusters of church-based Worklife ministries to rapidly expand church influence in each city.
Not forgetting the ultimate results are about changed lives, we are encouraged when we receive the hundreds of testimonies such as the one below that shows the power of providing affirmation and equipping to believers in their Work Life. You can read more about HCAW results, testimonies, case studies and services at www.HisChurchatWork.org Dear Pastor,
I hope you are enjoying this season of celebration and worship. All of us here at His Church at Work want to extend to you a Christmas blessing. I hope you are as encouraged as I am regarding the representation of the Good News through the work lives of the body of Christ. I see great progress in our mission of empowering churches for Worklife discipleship and outreach. As a token of our friendship and partnership in ministry we have posted online an audio message delivered by Os Guinness, a Trinity Forum Scholar called Understanding Your Calling. This is the message that transformed my thinking on vocational calling five years ago and eventually led to the formation of His Church at Work. Click on the message title and your media player should automatically open. I hope this message provides you a blessing also.
In your church, WorkLife Ministry needs a champion, a delegated activist leader. Are you a leader/member that can champion this in your church? We can help you! God may very well be asking you to be the key to work life reformation in your church. For additional information on how His Church at Work can empower your church congregation for Worklife discipleship and outreach please visit www.HisChurchatWork.org, or email info@HisChurchatWork.org
We'd like to invite you to pray with us as we trust God for the wisdom and the financial resources needed to serve more churches across the nation. The opportunities are exciting and we are increasing our internal infrastructure as we continue to grow. Would you pray specifically for our wisdom to work with only the churches God desires us to serve? We would also appreciate prayer for the resources and the people God has ordained ahead of time for this Kingdom purpose. Would you pray about partnering with us by providing strategic financial resources to build the infrastructure and team at HCAW? You can explore financial partnership at www.supporthcaw.org. The Kingdom Return-On-Investment is very high. Call us for more information or partnership opportunities. Thank you for your partnership in many ways! We appreciate you. His Church at Work Staff and Extended Team. |
